Inspired by the ancient woodland, marshland & the lower mill pond and its inhabitants, led by Gemma Gottelier, families explored the site, spotting creepy crawlies & winged wonders and attempting to sketch them before they crawled or flew away! Children foraged for natural materials and used their findings to make a clay insect creation & a home to tuck it into before listening to a fun story (or two!) about mini beasts.
