Inspired by bees, the plants they pollinate and sustainability; a group of young people explored bees, beeswax and the plants growing in Victoria Park and their vulnerability to climate change. Participants hand-rolled & decorated natural beeswax candles and decorated a recycled honey jar lantern, using glass paints & pens – adding foraged festive foliage from the park, in order to light up their homes or gardens or to give away as a unique hand-made Christmas gift!
This workshop was funded by the Kent Community Foundation Frank Brake Fund & supported by the Victoria Park Project.
