Waking up the Senses – family workshop, Oare Gunpowder Works

Re-discover a place you think you know well by stepping into your artist’s shoes & exploring it creatively, using all of your senses! Led by artist Andy Evans, families enjoyed exploring the historic Gunpowder works landscape in Faversham.

Inspired by the ancient woodland, marshland & the lower mill pond, they made art works from their experiences on the way, using new approaches to sketching, imaginative writing, and mark making activities to capture the essence of their walk.
