Led by artist Martin Brockman, families used prepared resource photographs and found objects to explore the varied mini beast birds and mammals found in the locality of Faversham Recreation Ground and surrounding environment.
Participants first sketched the characteristics of their chosen animal, then used woodland materials to make sculptures, bringing their minibeast to 3D life! Finished animals were decorated with chalk, charcoal and clay, exploring marks to describe scales, fur and feathers.
