Outdoor Studios offer Half Day and Full Day Art workshops to schools, youth and community groups on location, for all ages and abilities. The creative art sessions can be adapted to any environment including school grounds, woods, beaches and urban settings. Outdoor Studios work in partnership with the forestry commission in King’s Wood in Challock, near Ashford offering a range of sessions in this beautiful forest setting.
Outdoor Studios works with schools, youth and community groups on location by finding and making connections with place. Groups are encouraged to explore ways to engage with their local setting including coasts, meadows, woodlands, town parks, or urban landscapes through questioning and research. Outdoor Studios workshops can be adapted and developed with teachers to support the delivery of the school curriculum.

How much do Outdoor Studios Arts workshops cost?
Outdoor Studios arts workshops start at £150 for a half day and £300 for a full day working with one artist. There is an attendant cost if an additional artist is required due to group size or use of specialist tools. Some workshops may have a modest materials cost. Please use our Enquiries form to get in touch for a quote to suit your group.
How many people can we have in our group?
To ensure the best creative learning experience, Outdoor Studios arts workshops delivered by a single artist are designed for a maximum of 30 people. Outdoor Studios artists are available to support larger numbers so group sizes can be flexible. Some groups working with specialist tools will need to work in a smaller group member to artist ratio for safety reasons. We are flexible, so get in touch with us to see how we can work with you.
